We Subculture platform -

While in Hong Kong the mass media has twisted the meaning of OTAKU and embedded it with negative meanings like mentally abnormal, peculiar or lack of socials. To provide a platform with specific design visual and interface to let / Otaku / express their interests and talents, such as drawing, photography , creative writing etc. Through this platform, / Otaku / will feel comfortable to express them, at the same time the public will be able to explore the other side of / Otaku / and hopefully their impression could be changed through communication on this platform. / Otaku / also can show their talents which may be beneficial to the society.

香港傳媒慣常常把社會上的小眾分門別類，在欠缺詳細了解或深入研究下，把不同族群輕易標籤為「電車男、宅男、毒男、御宅族、隱蔽青年…」等等，既濫用這批新興詞彙，而且用詞負面，使不少族群諸如「宅男」或「毒男」，常被視為異常，古怪，甚至變態。事實上，「御宅族」(即港傳媒口中的「宅男」)一詞源自日本的流行文化，本意指狂熱的動漫愛好者，並無眨損的含意。我們可以喜歡音樂文化、跳舞文化、軍事文化為何喜愛二次元文化會被社會上的人加上一個隱閉、沈迷、不務正業的感覺？這批二次元文化愛好者絕非異於常人，不應在本地傳媒的刻意扭曲下備受社會的歧視。

理念：現世代有很多「二次元愛好者」都因場地、公眾包容力所限，不能各展所長 --- WE SUBCULTURE PLATFORM 是為所有動漫愛好者提供一個表達自己、興趣和能力的平台，分享心得，互通消息。不少「御宅族」其實暗藏很多驚世的天賦技能，例如繪圖，攝影，高超的電腦技巧或故事創作等等。透過此平台，他們可以在這裡充當興趣班導師、人材招募、二次創作、義捐漫畫、電子遊戲或書藉等等得到一些等級嘉許，從而在現實世界裡得到實在的成功感，亦可供獻社會。透過活動的過程可以認識不同的文化愛好者，又可以輕鬆地表達自己的嗜好和優點，外界亦能對他們有更正面和正確的認識，

從而改變社會上對「御宅族」的負面印象。
